I was born in 1972 and was the first to play the mechanical design of the Science Ninja Gatchman. This year is the 48th year of my career in the industry. Now I am also responsible for the design of many works. I hope that I can still work for another 2 years and work for 50 years. This is the second exhibition after the Guangzhou exhibition. Daheyuan is usually designed with multiple works at the same time. He took over the work of SUNRISE and Dragon Son between 1976 and 79. The design work of SUNRISE began with “Invincible Steel Man Titan 3”, and during the same period, the Dragon Son made this design as the third “Zenderman” of the “Time Spaceship” series. At that time, the “Time Spaceship” series must be made every year. There is a work that has been done for 9 years in a row
“Mobile Suit Gundam” started in 1979, the same year as “Zenderman”. In the same year, Mr. Okawara was also responsible for “THE☆ULTRAMAN” (Jonas Ottoman) and “Science Ninja Gatchaman II”. As we all know, the ratings of “Mobile Suit Gundam” were not good at the time, the toys were sold unsatisfactory, and they were eventually cut into 43 words. However, in the second year after the completion of “Mobile Suit Gundam”, the Gundam model released by Bandai suddenly burst into red. Immediately after the “Mobile Suit Gundam”, the next work produced by Mr. Okawara and the SUNRISE Studio 1 at the time, the invincible robot Treda G7, was also sponsored by Bandai. “Invincible Robot Treda G7” is followed by “The Strongest Robot King”
Because of the popularity of the Gundam model, toy makers as competitors also want to be able to sell models and make a work that competes with them. At this time, the launch of the Sun Tooth Dagram. During the period, SUNRISE had been making hard-core works and easy-to-follow works. At that time, “Armorly Cavalry Potomas” was not very popular. The next work was “Galaxy Drifting Fam”. The sponsor of “Galaxy Drifting Farm” was Bandai. Since new materials were developed at the time, it was hoped that the cover of the head cockpit could be designed to be transparent, which was also a very new design at the time
“Super Robot Gerat” didn’t have much time to design, and the name was taken from the “sudden change” in Japanese (がらっと変わる), Therefore, the deformation of Galat is also suddenly transformed from a cute form into such a handsome robot

In the 1990s, SUNRISE began to launch the super robot “Brave Series” that was extremely popular with children, from the first “Brave EX Caesar” to “Brave King GaoGaiGar”. “Mobile Suit Gundam”, because the main design work was handed over to the young designers, basically did not intervene in this work. In 1991, due to the requirements of the upper level of SUNRISE, A Yanliang, the teacher of Toshihara, and Yuki, who was supervised and designed by Yuki, was invited to come back to work together. This is the “Mobile Suit Gundam F91” which was released in the theater
Until the “Mobile Suit V Gundam” in 1993, it has been the Gundam Supervisor’s Gundam work, and after that it was called “Heisei Trilogy”, “Mobile Gundam G Gundam” “Mobile New Century” Up to X “New Mobile Warfare Gundam” is no longer on the time axis of the universe. The 1997 “GaoGaiGar” is the last work of the Brave series. This year also launched the OVA “Endless Waltz” of “New Mobile Suit Gundam”. After that, Gundam was the 2002 Mobile Suit Gundam SEED. Because of the popularity of “Mobile Suit Gundam SEED”, the sequel “Mobile Suit Gundam SEED DESTINY” was launched. These two works are launched in the style of “Idol drama”. In 2008, the second time of the “Time Spaceship” produced by Dragon Son, “Little Shuangxia” also launched a completely new work. This series, so this work is very enjoyable. 16 characters such as Puppy Wang, Xiao Shuang Xia Robot, Xiao Shuang Xia Robot, etc. are all played by Souyu Mountain Temple
Since 2010, SUNRISE has launched animations centered on Gundam models. The first is OVA’s Gunpla Builders Beginning G. After the serialization, the “Gundam Warrior”, “Up to the Warrior TRY”, “Up to the Creator” and “The Soaring Re: Rise” will be launched in October
In the two works “Time Spaceship 24” and “Time Spaceship Counterattacks Three Wicked Persons”, which were launched in 2016 and 2017 respectively, Mr. Okawara took on the mechanical design of the enemy, and each episode will replace the new enemy. Square robot

At the time of design, Daheyuan teacher still struggled to use red or green, and finally chose the dragon. Color, green, and Chinese elements such as Chinese knots took 2 days. Samples of this product have been exhibited in the surrounding sales area
This is a work designed by Teacher Okawai in his early 40s. He also said that the work was very happy at the time of design. In fact, during that time, I didn’t receive the design work of TV animation, so I didn’t think much about it, I took the “Magic” and the brave series
大河原老师 was the son of the Dragon who entered on April 2, 1972. In July, he suddenly received the Science Ninja Gatchaman, which is about to be broadcast in October, because there were no other mechanical designers, Daheyuan. The teacher followed the art minister, Nakamura, to draw a gourd and began to experiment with mechanical design
At that time, other companies had not seen such meticulous work. Teacher Okawara did not have experience in this area at the time, but it was a great thing to have such rich details in his opinion, but it was blamed by the animated original artists: “You have to let us draw so many details so complicated. The paintings!” After that, the mechanical design began to become more and more refined, so I didn’t know the rules of the industry at the time, but it was a good thing. Teacher Okawai said with a smile that he has not made any progress since that time
“The Galaxy Drifting Fab” is a work based on the “Five-Year Boys Drifting”, which uses the idea of the “Mobile Suit Gundam” plan and the children-centered story. The character design is Toshio Futian, and the supervision is Kanda Fukuy of “The Tooth of the Sun”, but unfortunately both have passed away
“Space Xiaoyi” is the fourth year of the work of Daheyuan teacher after entering the Dragon Son. From the main body to the secondary body, all of them are arranged by Daheyuan. The Dragon Son is very active in integrating animals and insects into the concept of mechanical design, such as manta rays, octopus heads, sea turtles, and hermit crabs
“Zenderman” is the work after “Little Shuangxia”. Teacher Okawai said that the series “Time Spaceship” is very happy to design, and the design like Gundam is very annoying

Zagu was designed to be very free because he was not included in the list of products. Only the second draft was made into a decision draft. The white base was designed in the “Invincible Steel Man Titan 3” and was eventually adopted in “Mobile Suit Gundam”. A lot of drafts were also drawn when designing the core fighters
This is the picture used in the poster of the “Theatrical Mobile Suit Gundam”. For example, the picture on the right side of the above picture was drawn during the 20th anniversary of “Mobile Suit Gundam”. Teacher Okawai revealed that at the time, he did not expect that “Mobile Suit Gundam” would be fired. As a result, the original painting of this poster was given to people at an event. I don’t know where to go, but now this is the 20th anniversary. Time to repaint. I used to paint with oil paint, and this repainting used acrylic paint. There is also an acrylic paint at the entrance. The reason why acrylic paint was used was because it was a poster, and acrylic paint was the cheapest
