Tsukumizu (つくみず) is a young cartoonist born in 1991. His masterpiece “Girls’ Final Travel”, adapted TV animation “Girls’ Endless Travel”, Tsukumizu is responsible for the script supervision and the production of the whole ED. In general, the original author is responsible for In ED, only static illustrations are drawn. After all, the profession has specializations. The cartoonist illustrator and the animated original artist are different professions, but Tsukumizu is doing a real “moving” ED. This is inseparable from his own love for animation. .
The process of animators doing animation.
At the time of the animation decision, Tsukumizu hopes that he can make some effort in the animation. At the same time, because he has not produced personal short films and animation experience, he only published some GIF animations on the Internet, so try to avoid it. The part that requires collective work, the work of the original film performance Tsukumizu feels that it is also troublesome to participate in, and ED is just right. .
At the same time, as the original author, I tried to highlight my own style in the part I was responsible for, so I used the style of pencil drawing. The main software is the animation part of CLIP STUDIO. Three years ago, CLIP STUDIO had no animation function, so it was used at that time. Adobe Flash, later CLIP STUDIO has an animation function, tried it and found that the accident is easy to use, it has been used. Although it was started three years ago, it was not the animation project that started three years ago. At the time of making the second manuscript of the original manga, the editor said that “this may be animated later”, Tsukumizu thought about what he could do when he was animated, so he started to learn animation privately. .
The specific production process is to get the first edition of ED music from the producer, and to make a mirror according to the music imagination screen. The overall policy is still the picture of the protagonist’s daily life. In addition to life scenes, there are also some things that Tsukumizu wants to try, such as lightning and explosion effects. There is also a lens that the camera broke. The original painting of this lens was made public in Harajuku’s “Girls’ Final Travel” exhibition. .
Snowballing is also difficult, because there are people running vertically, Tsukumizu has taken video for reference. In the lens of the spiral step, the pole and the background slide, although it is not a real lens, but there are often similar omissions in the animation, but it feels good. Because the original paintings are digitally produced and can be previewed in real time, many of them are done in one go, and there is no reappearance. .
.
Tsukumizu’s split screen on Twitter is very scribbled, but after all, it’s not a teamwork. You don’t need to think about other people can understand it. Naturally, you can do whatever you want. .
First put the ED in the Premiere Pro, and then put the splitter roughly into it, so that the time of each shot is determined. After the time of each lens is decided, I will enter the painting section of CLIP STUDIO. After the original painting is completed, because there is no printer at home, or to print to a convenience store, the total number of sheets is about 400. Print it out and then perform the “animation” link in the animation. After the line is completed, scan it into a digital finished product, and then enter the CLIP STUDIO to process it. The product is basically finished. Because the number of sheets is actually quite a lot, Tsukumizu also regrets that it would be nice to hire an assistant. This section also uses the positioning ruler used in the professional animation process. Tsukumizu laments that it is really difficult to cut. . The
Compilation is a special person assigned to the animation production. When editing, you need to add the STAFF table to the screen. Tsukumizu did not consider this part when it was made, but because there are many loop shots, the time is not enough or more. The recirculating lens that came out was on the move, and the finished product was basically the same as Tsukumizu imagined. .
The whole production took one month plus one week, and the mirror was completed in 3 days. The original painting was about 15 days, and the animation was about 15 days. Because the normal serialization of comics also needs to be guaranteed at the same time, it is still very difficult, but the whole The process plus the animation that allows the audience to enjoy their own animation is very happy, and if there is an opportunity in the future, will definitely continue to participate in the work related to the image. .
Animation interest
Tsukumizu likes a lot of animations, and what he has to say is the “Spirit of the Sun” and “The Guilty of the Ghosts”, especially the line design of “Innocent”. In addition, he likes Daping Jin’s painting very much. This ED is also influenced by Daping. The part of Daping who is innocent is very moving. In addition, there is also the mountain under the clear, the mountain is not the most responsible for the part of their own from beginning to end, it is precisely because of this, the personality of Yamashita will be fully reflected in the lens he is responsible for. Recently, more and more people have published their own works on the Internet. Tsukumizu also admires these well-painted people. Although he likes to paint, he himself is more likely to listen to others and rarely take the initiative to say it. .
